The Polar Express

We drove to Palestine for the second year in a row to ride on The Polar Express.  The kids love this and so do we.  We'd had a bit of a rough day with the boys not listening and following instructions so we almost didn't get to go. 

But the boys finally shaped up and we got to go.  We headed out around 4 and went to Palestine.  We ate at Bishop's Brisket House (which was quite yummy).

Ashton and Brec were really excited.

Poor Ashton fell asleep after receiving his bell from Santa.  Poor kid but we picked the last ride of the night so we could see the engine at work afterwards.

William and Ashton got to watch them uncouple the engine to prepare to take it to the roundhouse for the night.  We always enjoy seeing the steam engine at work.
