We continued our voyage on Saturday morning, November 27th. We had been waiting for this cruise for over 18 months and it was finally here. We woke up and headed down to check in for the cruise and grab breakfast at the food court. Checking in was so easy and they take care of everything at the airport now including the pictures. We then headed for breakfast. We got some Greasy Kreme Krispy Kreme Donuts. Those were so nasty even Brec and Ashton wouldn't eat them. Ashton instead drank his Starbucks hot chocolate and ate a banana while Brec just drank his hot chocolate. William was the only one who could choke it down. I had to have him go to McDonald's to get me something edible.
We then headed back to the room and grabbed our bags and headed down to the bus. We got on the first available one--concierge has its perks!
We got to the terminal and waited until boarding began. We were in the first 50 or so people on board because concierge boards right after the family of the day. We then headed to Parrot Cay for lunch.
And on the way to the concierge reception Brec found his new lounge chair.
We met our new best friends for the week--our concierge staff. Danny, from Bulgaria, made sure that all of our needs were meet. We also got a taste of what concierge was like at the reception. The boys wanted chocolate milk--done. Special cookies--done. They also helped us make reservations for Tea with Alica (didn't know about this) and Gingerbread House Decorating (nor this). They also suggested more time for Ashton in Flounder's Nursery (can we say YES!!!).
We then headed to our room which was fabulous. We had a one bedroom suite (8032). Here is a picture of the living room. The picture isn't very good but we also had a master suite with a walk-in closet and a real shower and a real bathtub with jets! The veranda was the length of three normal verandas. And our stateroom host was Shaka from Tobago. He was so wonderful. I wish I could have brought him home.
William took Brec swimming while Ashton "napped."
We then had the lifeboat drill. Brec was looking forward to this.
