This year, just like our last stop, we reserved a private cabana. We had #4 this year.
Honestly the best thing about having a cabana is just having a place to call home for the day. The cabana includes an indoor living area, refrigerator with cold drinks and cold towels, along with an outdoor living area with a hammock and shower to get rid of the sand. Disney also includes a safe, nice towels for the beach, rafts and floats on the beach, sand toys, and sun screen. We totally enjoyed the cabana (even without Brec and Ashton's favorite fruit punch) and will be reserving one for our next cruise in March 2013.
We enjoyed the private beach just for those with cabanas.
Brec and I tried to snorkel but that is really hard so we gave up. We did enjoy Pelican Plunge though. Brec learned to swim just so he could really enjoy Castaway Cay.
Brec and Ashton stayed in the water almost the whole day. We were all really sunburned even with putting sunscreen on several times that day. We were also really exhausted. We went back to the ship at 4:30 (we were some of the last ones back). We got showered and changed for dinner. And that story will be continued...
