Vacation--Day 1 NYC

We headed out to New York City on June 1st.  The boys were very excited to get going.  We got to the airport and had breakfast at the gate.  Both boys loved watching the airplane out the windows.

After we arrived at LaGuardia, lunch was at Five Guys.  A good standby that we know and they have free refills.  THIS will become very important during our NYC visit.

We got a taxi to go to our hotel.  Both boys were very excited for this as well.

We arrived at our hotel, The Kimberly.  The hotel is a nice and spacious hotel.  Our room was huge!  We had a master bedroom, a living room with pull out sofa, kitchenette, and dining area.

We then headed out to explore.  Brec's first request was to head to Toys R Us at Times Square. 

We got to ride the Ferris Wheel that has all sorts of over sized kid's toys as the cars. 

We got the Cozy Coupe.

Brec then picked out a T-Rex to remind him of the giant animatronic one they had there.

We saw the ABC Studios and the New Year's Ball at Times Square as well as visiting the Hershey Store.  Both boys got cute hats and Ashton picked up a giant Hershey bar.

We decided to go ahead and eat dinner at Carmine's.  Oh my goodness, it was good.  And, they refilled drinks... 

After dinner, we headed to Rockefeller Center to visit Top of the Rock.  We passed Radio City Music Hall on our way.

We ended the night by going by Starbucks and then heading back to our hotel.  We had a fun day flying and site seeing and were excited to see the Disney Magic the next day.
