We arrived at the port and went through security and finished checking in. Since we were concierge guests, we were able to board immediately and not wait in line.
We headed to the Concierge reception where we were able to see our favorite concierge host, Danny. We had requested him as our concierge and he was once again wonderful. We had our light lunch there and then headed to our room. The boys made themselves at home watching their favorite vintage cartoons and arranging their stuffed animals.
William took Brec and Ashton to the Mickey Pool while I unpacked. Soon, it was time for the lifeboat drill and the Sailaway Party.
Of course, no Disney Sailaway Party is complete without the countdown and blowing of the horn.
Yes, I cried.

We were able to see Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty from our ship. We also sailed under the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge before heading off to dinner to meet our servers. Our servers for our cruise were Aditya from India and Yana from Indonesia. They were great and were the best servers we've ever had. They put up with our weird taste and also got us special meals. After dinner the boys were ready to go to the Oceaneer's Club so William and I went back to our room to relax. We finally got to see our awesome stateroom host, Shaka. He told us stories of how another stateroom flooded and he had to take care of it. He is able to totally make the same noise as the cruise ship toilets. He also told us great stories of his sheep farming. Our favorite though was his story about a turkey and a duck getting into a fight. He told us who would win and why. Long story and one I don't want to post here. But it is funny.
